Whether you have a question about something I wrote, want to work together, or just want to share what's on your mind β my inbox is genuinely open and I reply to everything.
Thank you for reaching out. I read every message personally and will reply within 24β48 hours. While you wait, there might be an essay worth reading π
Browse the blogEssayist, designer, chronic over-thinker. Writing about slow living, creativity, and the art of paying attention since 2019.
No bots, no auto-replies β just me, usually with coffee in hand, reading what you wrote and thinking about how to respond properly.
If your question is here, you might get a faster answer.
Yes β selectively. I help brands, founders, and creators find language that actually sounds like people. This includes brand voice development, editorial strategy, long-form content, and the occasional ghostwriting project. Use the form above and select "Consulting work" so I know what you're after.
Short quotes with attribution and a link back are absolutely fine β I love that. For longer excerpts or full republication, please reach out first and I'll almost certainly say yes. Just ask β it's always better than not.
Rarely, but occasionally. Inkwell is a personal publication with a very specific voice, so guest pieces would have to fit very naturally. If you have an idea that genuinely feels like it belongs here, pitch it β but please don't send generic content proposals.
I do occasional podcast interviews and, less frequently, speaking engagements on the topics I write about β slow living, creativity, design, and the attention economy. Use the "Press & media" tab in the form above for the fastest response.
The best thing you can do is share a piece you loved with someone who might love it too. Beyond that, subscribing to the newsletter keeps you connected and helps with reach. I'm not currently running a paid subscription model, but that may change β I'll announce it in the newsletter first.
For anything time-sensitive, email is faster β maya@inkwell.blog. For casual conversation, Twitter DMs work well too. The contact form here is best for longer messages or anything where you want context preserved.
